I have an absolute passion for the Lake Region. I grew up here, I went to school here, my family lives here, and we’re excited to call the area home. Dr. Eric Herman
Dr. Eric Herman was born and raised in Devils Lake, ND, graduating from Devils Lake High School. Completing a bachelor’s degree in Zoology at North Dakota State University in 2011, he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2012. Creighton University is one of only a few schools in the United States that focuses on training general dentists for serving rural communities with a high number of dental services. This provided Dr. Herman with the opportunity to learn from specialists in all areas of dentistry to continue to provide a high number of dental services already available at SmileQuest for the Devils Lake area. While in school he volunteered his time providing dental services for those in need at a OneWorld clinic in Omaha and at a Catholic mission in South Dakota. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016, excited to return to his hometown to practice dentistry. He is a member of the following organizations to further his ability to care for you:

- North East District Dental Society
- The Heartland Study Club
His wife, Dr. Logan Herman, is a physical therapist with Altru Outreach Therapy Services, serving communities surrounding the Lake Region. He and his wife enjoy many of the recreational activities in the area including wakeboarding, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, gardening, and time with friends. You can expect to see them outside enjoying the season in their free time.
